Saturday... She was inspired by being included in a team with the 12th fastest lady swimmer in Britain... First out she managed to take 1.2 seconds off her best 50meter time (which previously stood at 44.9) so down to 43.7 also setting a time for 200m at 3minutes 34 seconds... Then won a bronze medal in the 50m relay and swam an even faster time for 50m with a 42.58, taking a further 1.2 seconds off her earlier time! |

The Men's team improved on their 2002 overall time by 2 mins finished 9th and the Ladies team improved on their 2002 time by 16 mins finishing in 16th place, sadly just missing out on retaining their title by 26 seconds!. But congratulations must go to Headington Road Runners ladies who just pipped us to the post this year after we just beat them by just 8 mins last year... Trevor Hunter finishes 6th in the Great South Trail. The course was a 10K race, the first 5K being a normal cross country course, followed by jumping over the same 30 jumps that the horses do during the Windsor horse trials. |

A big well done to all our runners that completed the Elizabeth Cullum memorial Marathon, a twenty
six mile race through the Chilterns starting and finsihing at Princes Risborough Fire station. Rod Plamer was the first in the over 55 category in a time of 4hrs 26mins and Trevor Hart was the first man in the over 60 group with a time of 5hrs 25 mins. The two man team of Trevor Free and Nick Martin won the over 45 team prize in 5 hrs 5 mins. (An amazing feat as their time included a 35 minute detour!) First home for the club was Ian Gibbon and Peter Edington in a time of 4hrs 38 mins. |
